Purpose and scope

About PayrollFixPro

PayrollFixPro is an independently maintained collection of focused planning calculators. It is designed to make an estimate inspectable: the user can see the inputs, scope, formula explanation, source, and limitations on the same page.

What the site publishes

The public inventory is intentionally small. As of August 5, 2026, PayrollFixPro maintains six calculators covering 401(k) contributions, employer cost, executive compensation, federal weekly overtime, a weekly time card, and Singapore salary planning. Broad batches of repetitive calculators and thin articles that did not add enough distinct decision value were removed.

What the site does not do

PayrollFixPro is not payroll software. It does not collect employee records, run payroll, file returns, determine worker classification, interpret a plan document, or calculate every state and local rule. The site does not represent that its work has been reviewed by a licensed accountant, attorney, financial adviser, or payroll professional.

How a calculator is reviewed

  1. Define one decision the tool should help a reader check.
  2. Identify the official source and effective date for regulated figures.
  3. Implement the narrowest formula that can be explained accurately.
  4. Test ordinary examples, zero values, threshold values, and annual caps.
  5. State exclusions and avoid implying coverage the tool does not provide.
  6. Record the review date and update the page when a source changes.

Who should use it

The tools are for employees, small employers, payroll operators, and advisers who need a first-pass reasonableness check. A useful result should lead to a better question or a better documented review, not replace a filing, contract, payroll register, or professional opinion.

Last sitewide inventory review: August 5, 2026. See the editorial policy for sourcing and correction standards.
